Do women in 2007 still use a diaphragm as a form of contracetion?!
Question:
Do women in 2007 still use a diaphragm as a form of contracetion?
I was wondering if the "Dutch cap" was still used today or was the condom used more?
Answers:
I have used the diaphram - it's a bit messy but is a good alternative. However, it MUST be used properly otherwise it might not be effective. It also must be left in for about 5 hours after sex which is a bit inconvenient. I also experienced several bladder infections when using it so stopped. It need to be fitted by an expert - I would probably steer clear - it is not as effective as a condom or other methods.
