I am going on a trip next week with my best friend and our boyfriends. We are going up to the lake and we are going to be boating and swimming. The problem is, i am going to have my period next week. I can use tampons, but i really hate them and i don't want to use them. Is there any way to "stall" your period for a few days? My friend said that she takes advil and it slows it down, but i don't think that would work. Any suggestions?

Advil has a blood thinner. If you want to calm any cramps, take tylenol instead.
The only way to stall your period is if you were on the pill- you would keep taking your pills instead of taking the placebo.
