When can you call something sexual assault?!
Question: When can you call something sexual assault?
Answers:
Sexual assault is unwanted sexual touching. It covers a very wide range of activities, all the way from a grope or kiss by a stranger, right through to penetration with an object (not a penis - that's legally rape).
By comparison, sexual harassment is prolonged, persistent and unwanted sexual advances (which don't have to include touching, but must be seen to continue even after the recipient has told the harasser to back off, or in cases where the recipient could be seen to have a reasonable fear of consequences should they reject the advance).
Basically, if it's just words, or if it's online, then it's sexual harassment.
If you were deliberately touched in a sexual way, and you did not consent, then that's sexual assault.
when you have to ask then you have probably been assaulted
