I think that the pill with average use ( taking at different times during the day sometimes, might forget a pill here or there) is like 93%.

With perfect use( taking it at the same time every day, never forgetting ever), it's like 99. something.

It is reported to be 99% effective. That sounds like a lot, but think if your chances of winning the lottery were 1 in 100. You'd think those were great odds! I just watched a TV show where this young woman did get pregnant while on the pill.

NO form of birth control is 100% effective. The best thing is to combine methods.

Do this:

you're on the pill.
He's wearing a condom. (check it every so often for breaks)
He pulls out before he ejaculates.
Use Spermicidal lube.

This is like 1/10,000 of getting pregnant (if that)
