Why is my period ALWAYS late?!
Question: Why is my period ALWAYS late?
I got my first period when i was 12 and i'm now 20 years old and its never consistant in high school it would skip months, and even now it does the same thing it was 3 weeks late in august then on time then two weeks late and late month again was 2 weeks late so far this month its exactly a week late and its so annoying never knowing when its coming. I'm against getting on birth control i just really do not want it, i was just curious if there was a reason for it being so late all the time, and is it unhealthy like could it harm my chances of getting pregnant down the road if i dont regulate it?

There's no way to tell from here. Many women have irregular periods. Some times it's for a worrisome reason, sometimes not. Now that you're 20, you need to start getting checked by a gynecologist. You can ask him/her why it's so irregular.
Being on the pill makes you bleed in a predictable pattern, but it doesn't have permanent consequences for your period schedule.
