Is it ok to take Metronidazole vaginal gel with Tegretol Retard 200mg?!
Question: Is it ok to take Metronidazole vaginal gel with Tegretol Retard 200mg?
Been prescribed this by doctor, then searched it in google and says the gel increases the tegretol which could lead to toxicity????????????? Should i take it or go back and get something else? I need it to treat bacterial vaginosis but do not want to risk having an epileptic fit.

This effect would only occur if the metronidazole were take orally.
