I have irregular menstrual cycles.?!

Question: I have irregular menstrual cycles.?
I was prescribed a medication in the past that I would like to mention to my current doctor, but I can't remember what the name of it was. I remember that I took it ten days in the month and that it was not a birth control medication. I also think the name of it might have started with a "p", but I'm not for sure. Any ideas what that medication could have been???

*If you tell your doctor exactly what you wrote here, I'm sure your doctor will be able to come up with the answer much easier than any of us coming up with guesses as to what it was. Doctors are the ones who prescribe these medications so I'm sure he/she will know what it is by what you describe. Or, you can go to your local library and go to the medical section and find the PDR, Physicians Desk Reference. In it, there are almost all the drugs used listed there. Look under the "P" section and see if something strikes you as that one being the one you're looking for. You can also go on websites such as www.drugstore.com and look up the drug there. They list drugs under "categories" as well as by the alphabet. Good luck.

P.S> Could it have been Progesterone???????

penicillian. you say you took it for 10 days, was it an antibiotic? Call your previous doctor's office and ask them the name, or go to the pharmacist who filled your prescription and ask them.
