It's been a year today since when I was raped.?!

Question: It's been a year today since when I was raped.?
Only my best friend actually knows as she's the one who went on holiday with me but one night we got separated and that's when it happened.
And for a year now I have been having these dreams, like the flash back from that night.
and it's the same dream every single time, And i can always remember their faces.
And I don't want to tell anyone but I don't know what to do anymore.

I am so sorry this unfortunate attack happened to you. There are support services in every city for you. They take anyone and everyone who needs help. A recently hurt person or someone with a distant past of assault. Also, your medical provider can offer support and options for you as well.

This wasn't your fault, but you cannot deal with it on your own, it is too difficult for one person to handle. Your friends can try to help, but don't have the tools needed to assist you through this.

You can either be a victim or a survivor. You decide.

Your dreams and memories suggest PTSD (post traumatic stress). It is a common and unfortunate side effect of a traumatic event. The terrible nature of what happened to you is trying to get sorted out in your brain. The brain is often incapable of doing so, which is why you need care from a supportive objective source.

Good luck.

This is a very unclear question... are you asking what to do to deal with it? The question is: why don't you want to tell anyone? Also, do you get the feeling that it will help to talk to someone else about it? If you do, you should. You might also want to see a counselor. It helped me a lot.

I think you should tell someone about it that's the only way you'll feel better. Keeping it inside and hiding it will just make you worst wow i feel so sad by reading this. I Hope and pray you overcome this one day and they find the person(s) who did this to you.

Every city has confidential support services for people in your situation. This was not your fault and you don't deserve to carry the guilt/shame/rage with you all your life.

Please reach out to them.

Godspeed.

There is a book we are reading right now in Sophomore English class. It is called "Speak". It is about a girl around the age of 14 that was raped. It is all about trying to find the courage to tell someone about it.

Find someone nice you can trust and tell them anyway. Otherwise get with me and we'll get them drunk and cut off their *****.
