Period nearly one month ago! I find pads really uncomfterble and I was wondering about tampons! I am not very close to
My mum so I wd rather not talk about it to her unless I am sure I want to use them! Do
U think I am too young and it is too soon!? I find them pretty scary but still want to use them! Do they hurt?

Dont listen to the other people telling you your too young. I used them on my 2nd period too! Its completely up to the girl. I would definetly recommend them. They dont hurt at all i promise. The first time you insert could feel a little uncomfortable but its not bad. Trust me. After the first time, your practically a pro at it! Just follow the directions in the box and go for it :)

No, tampons do not hurt and you can use them.
Pads will feel "funny" because you're not used to having anything in your panties like that. Tampons also may feel a bit weird the first time you put it in, but once it is in there you can't feel them. Sometimes if your flow is heavy you need to use a super tampon and a panty liner, just in case.
Since your mom is probably paying for whatever you use, talk it over with her if you can.
Tampons don't hurt, if you use them correctly. They are also more comfortable for physical activities like working out, running and even swimming. However, if a tampon is left in place for a long period of time it may cause Toxic Shock Syndrome. Here are some helpful sources to decide which product is right for you. I still prefer pads over night, so I don't have to worry about keeping the tampon in place for longer than 4 hours.
You can also ask the nurse at your school. She should have materials for you to read, or she may even be able to explain things her/him self.

i dont think its a case of if your too younge, once youve started your peroid then your old enough to use eaither, i know there scary! And they will probs hurt the first time you take it out! Just make sure youve left it in long enough, and a little tip, get the tampons with the applicator, hope this helps x
There is no age to start using tampons. You just need to have your period. However, I would start with the smaller ones, especially if you are a virgin (It won't break your hymen, don't worry, it's just easier to insert at first).
Plastic is the best!! Card board kinda hurts, who would even make them lol. I would start using a regular or light tampon and change it frequently if u need to. Tampons r so much better than that thick pad and blood feeling. Hope i helped :)

12 is kind of young to use a tampon. i would only start using them if your flow is really heavy. if so talk to your mom and no they do not hurt if done the right way. hope i helped:)
if you're small don't use a tampon they might make you sick. other than that i would still only reccomend using a tampon if you go swimming.
