Why do I always get pains 1 week "before" my period?!
Question: Why do I always get pains 1 week "before" my period?
Answers:
It is normal, a lot of women get cramps before they start their period. you only need to be concerned about your menstrual cycle if you bleed for more than seven days, have more the 28 days between periods or less than 23. Also if they are bothering you that much you can go on birth control to make your period more regular and control cramping
This is perfectly normal! :) Loads of girls get cramps before their periods and it is completely normal. The weight gain is nothing to do with it so don't worry, the cramps you get before and during periods can vary all the time. For instance, I don't normally get cramps but last month I had really bad ones. Stress can change when you're period comes but again, this is completely normal.
So, don't worry, everything is normal :)
I spoke to the doctor today about the exact same thing. The past few periods my cramping has start a week before on and off. He just said its normal. I was worried something was wrong also. My actual period isn't that crampy. I used to only cramp 2-3 days before. I have it now and my period is due this weekend. I hope its not an every month thing now! Its annoying
It is not necessarily a big deal. If the pain is unbearable, it can be a sign of something bigger such as endometriosis, but having cramps a week before a period is normal. It's just PMS.
Its called pre menstrual cramping. Its just your bodies own way of letting you know your period is coming. Same thing happens to me. Very normal. Nothing to worry about
Self experience
I get pains a week before too. Don't worry, that's normal (although very annoying!). If I were you I'd just be grateful that I didn't get sick from the pain anymore. Congratulations on the weight gain.
perfectly normal..just keep checking up on ur menstrual cycle..
