How do I tighten and tone my arms and thighs?!
Question: How do I tighten and tone my arms and thighs?
I’ve gotten myself involved in a weight management program (for three weeks now) and here’s how I’ve been doing so far:
- I’ve cut salty, oily, sugary, fried, fattening and sweet food out of my diet.
- The only fruits I eat are pears, pineapples, green apples, and watermelons.
- I eat a tuna sandwich with cottage cheese for my morning snack.
- For breakfast, I have a whole grain cereal that is high in fiber and cholesterol-free with skimmed milk.
- For lunch, I basically eat fish and one cup of white rice.
- For dinner, I have one cup of white rice.
- The only beverages I drink are water or (as recommended by my nutritionist/endocrinologist) fresh vegetable or fruit juice.
- I go to the gym three times a week and do all kinds of cardio, abdominal and strengthening workouts. (Crunches, push ups, leg lifts; I use exercise equipment and dumbbells also.)
- When idle at home, I preoccupy myself with the exercises that my personal trainer has taught me.
I lose at least 2 kgs. or 5 lbs. each week. I want to tone my arms—they’re larger than most women’s—and thighs though. Just in case you’re wondering, I’m only 16. Is there anything I’m missing?

Answers:
i eat whatever i want and i still have toned arms and legs (not bulky, but lean and toned) because i swim three days a week for a hour every time.
if you go for swimming, work up to a hour a day slowly, if you don't take it a step at a time you will be cramped the next day and probably quit
