Question: Question about birth control+condoms+sex?

Hello, well here is my dilemma. I have been using birth contol for over a year now and only missed one pill when i first started (over a year ago) other then that I have taken them effectively and taken them every day. Well my bf of 2 yrs and I had sex yesterday (first of all sorry if this is graphic, so i guess don't read any further if you are not mature enough) he wiped off the pre *** and then proceeded to put a condom on and right as he put it in ,the first time, he got like half way in and the condom broke/tore bc i was too dry. it ripped on the side, not at the tip, and he immediately pulled it out and put on a new condom. He never actually cums inside of me, i make him pull out even with a condom on and we ALWAYS use a condom ( i am a "worry wart" and always take precaution), so my question to you is what are my chances of pregnancy. This is the first time anything like this has happened and I would like to hear your input. Please I ask for your respect and no immature answers, I am almost 20 and don't need to hear people being rude thinking im really young and having sex, I am just concerned. Thank you!

You should be fine if you have been taking it at the same time every day. You're not a worry wart by any means. It is your body that will have the most effect if something were to not work. In fact, I applaud you for worrying about it. All to often women shrug it off as nothing. Only to end up pregnant(condom only means of BC) or with an STD. Just know that pre-ejaculation can contain sperm. I've know of women who took BC religiously and still got pregnant. So there is always that slim chance. As well as with a condom, as you know all too well, they can break.

If you are completely worried you can take an OTCPT.

I know how you feel, I am the exactly same way! And I can tell you by the sounds of it, that you shouldn't be too worried hun! If he didn't actually ejaculate in you, then you should be fine no worries :) Don't try to stress over it, cause stress can cause you to delay your period coming! So just know that you are not pregnant!

If you're already on the pill and other than the one pill you missed (at the beginning?) you've used it correctly you should be fine. It sounds to me like you are seriously taking whatever precautions are needed to keep from getting pregnant. Don't worry.

I would say no chance at all that you are at risk for pregnancy. There is always a million to one chance but I think you should not worry about it. Some people try everything to get pregnant and don't.

I would say you're fine. ONE day could lessen it's affectiveness, but not by much. If you missed more than 2 pills it is said you should restrain from having sex for a week while you take your pills regularly again. It is also said you should double up the next day for the one you missed. I'm on birth control pills too. Pre-*** also doesn't have a high chance of getting you pregnant, but it still has a chance. I wouldn't worry... if you're that worried take the morning after pill. You're old enough to get it without a prescription. Good luck. :)
