My gynecologist prescribed me after she diagnosed me with PCOD for 5 days to get my periods after 5 months not having it. Are there side effects like harmful ones ? How did u feel taking them? Did it work?thanks

there really arn't many side effects to taking the pill for most woman. if you are over 35 and you smoke a lot, there is an increase risk for blood clots and strokes. but the pill is pretty safe. i have taken it for years, and never had a problem with anything. but every one is different. just take it, and if you start having bad things happen, discuss it with your doctor and switch to a different brand. but most likely nothing will happen.
