Yeast infection questions?!
Question: Yeast infection questions!?
this is my first yeast infection and i dont really know whats normal to have and what to expect!.
I used monistat 1 last night and it completely took away the itching up until a few hours ago!. is it gone!? why am i itching still if it says it will work in one day!? should i try another one!?
also i am not having "thick chunky discharge" and i dont smell fishy!.
just have bumps around my vagina and they itch super bad!.
its not possible i have herpies or any of that because im not sexually active!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just an FYI:
You can get yeast infections from scented tampons or just not changing your tampon enough!. Also from tight jeans (that area gets moist) and from thongs!. Urinary Tract Infections can turn into Yeast Infections!. You can get UTI's from not drinking enough water, sex & wiping back to front!.
Anyways, Monistat works really well, just get cream as well, it helps!. Chug a TON of water & eat yogurt!. (The yogurt kills the infection) Also, if you get sick of water, alternate between that and cranberry juice!. Your itching should go away soon, just give it a little longer - and like I said - the cream works miracles when it seems the meds aren't working!.
the bumps might be razor burn if you shave!.!.!. that's the only thing I can think of seeing you're not sexually active!. Although, if the bumps don't go away or are really uncomfortable, I'd go to the Dr!. Who knows what people can get these days!.!.!.!.
The whole thing will go away before you know it!. Just make sure you watch out for all the things I said before!. My mom told me all of that and now I do it and don't get the YI anymore!. But when I did, when I drank water & ate yogurt, it helped speed up getting rid of it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
