Question: What do ovulation tests tell you, really!?

i'm confused!. ok, Y!A, i have a belly now what some people have!.!. but i think it has changed and my eating style hasn't and it wasn't like that last month!. i guess some normal bellies look like mine, but mine never stuck out at all!.!. it was closer to flat and now it's a tinsy bit round!.
but i'm confused to really, ovulation tests!. you say they could detect pregnancy!? but online i searched that u don't ovulate when pregnant!.
so i tested ovulation for yesterday and like a day or two before yesterday and about to tonight!.!.!. but my first result was neg with the faint line lighter than the test line!. and the two days after i had no other line!. so either i missed my ovulation or am pregnant and that's why!.!.!. but some of you said you have Lh with pregnancy!.!. the tests detect Lh but they are ovulation tests!.!. so they test when you ovulate!.!. not sure!.!. so confused!.!. can anyone clearify for me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
