How can I explain to my mum that I use tampons?!
Question: How can I explain to my mum that I use tampons!?
I first used tampons when I went away on holiday with my friend this summer!. But my mum says that tampons are not a good idea and she doesn't personally like them!. She still thinks I use towels!. But I really want to start using tampons without having to secretly buy them on my own!. Any ideas how to tell her!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

thats her opinion not yours so if you want to use them she cant tell you not to!.!.!.its your body!.and if you really dont want to tell her leave them somewhere where she will find them and then shell bring it up first!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The same thing happened to me!. I got my period unexpectedly on holiday without my family!. I had some pads on me but I didn't like using them and so brought a box of tampons!.
When I got home I kept them secret for a while as I was too scared to tell my mum, and then one day I called her into my room and got the box out of my drawer and was like 'mum, I got these for when I go swimming ok!?'
I don't even go swimming, but my mum was like oh ok!.
If you buy them yourself and just tell her about them there's not much she can do, it's your body after all!.

Just say to her why you are using Tampons rather than towels!. If she's a cool mum she'll understand, if not, you'll have to go secret buying until you leave home!Www@Answer-Health@Com
