Question: Could this be endometriosis!?
well i was talking to my cousin!.!. i have black tarry looking stuff when i go to the bathroom!. i am supposed to be on my period and that's what is coming!. it used to be brown but now its black and tar looking!. and well my cousin said in her medical dictionary that when you have endometriosis they are black spots and we were wondering if those black spots can come off and thats what this black stuff is!? if not then has anyone experienced this and found out what this is!?!?!?!?!? thanks in advance!.!.only serious answers! i am going to the doc in a week but i was curious nowWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have endometriosis!.!.!.!. They found it when I was 14!. (I'm 21 now) I've never had this problem before!. I can't give any other advice because I've never been thru this!. I just know it's never happend to me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Here's as serious an answer as you're gonna get!. Endometriosis just means that you've got endometrial tissue outside of the uterus; it can be in lots of places (ectopic), e!.g!. the ovary (this is called a chocolate cyst in genecology), with peritoneal seeding or some may even have ectopic endometrial tissue in the thorax (a very rare cause of pneumothorax)!. The symptoms are often vague, but often involve bad perimentrual adbdominopelvic pain or heavy bleeds!. It can be endometriosis and gyn eval is indicated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
