So sorry for your troubles! I would like to know how many doctors you have seen, as i myself had endometriosis so bad the doctor was shocked i ever had children!. I also have fibroid cyst and have had them taken out a few times but they just come back so i just live with them!.I did have a hysterectomy when i was 26 but they left my ovaries!.i had to have it as my last baby was 13 pounds and messed me up!.Anyway if i where you i would get a second or third opinion as there are many women with one orary it just may take time !4 months is a short time to have tried for a baby!.sometimes you just have to stop trying and it can happen!. good luck too you !it is known for docs to do hysterectomys when you really do not need one so please seek another opinionWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, I am sorry for you!. I would also be sad, but think about other options!. I know the idea of being pregnant is really the focus here but it won't be physically possible (also if you would like a family, then adoption isn't a bad option)!. It is better that you be healthy and live the best life with your husband and the family you choose at the end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the cyst is not cancerous I would recommend that you get a 2nd or 3rd opinion and just don't remove your one reproductive ovary because the doctor recommends it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will be alright!. I know you say adoption is no consolation, but member in our family have been adopted and it is a gift!. I'm sorry for all your hardship and pain!. You will be stronger from all of this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ay honey!. I am so sorry!. I know how it feels to be obsessed with having a baby!. Honestly, it's kinda like when someone asks about how to get over the death of a loved one; there is no way!. I do agree with what you have been told, that adoption is a great solution!. Are there any support groups of women who have or are wearing your shoes!? I think that people that adopt are the most caring people!. Maybe that would be your life calling!?
Gosh girl, I wish you the best of luck!. Please consider adoption because it sounds like any child that would be your son/daughter would receive so much love and caring, and that child would be lucky to have you as a mother!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Firstly, *hug* I am sorry to hear that! I have been trying for 3 years to get pregnant with my hubby and then I went to a fertility specialist and it turns out my tubes don't work at all so we are currently looking into IVF!. That said, I know the depression that you are going through! It shatters you when your dreams fall apart!. However, like you said there are other options available to you!. Since everything is being removed and you can't physically get pregnant, then you can't really dwell on that because it cant be changed!. I would suggest looking up some support groups, or maybe going to see a counsellor to help you deal with your emotions and depression and then maybe look into your other options - like you said, there is adoption AND how many beautiful children are there out there looking for a home with someone willing to take them in and love them like their own!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am so sorry to hear that!. I know EXACTLY what you mean!. Im afraid that I cant get pregnant either!. I too know what u mean about wanting to carry my own child, etc!. I think most women do!.

I think before you think about where your children will be coming from, you need to focus on grieving!. Maybe join a support group, get therapy, and definitely hold on to your hubby!. It is true that adoption is an option!. Its not the same, and you will still go through this loss, but I know that adoption brings blessings of its own, if you decide you are ready!. I know a kid would be blessed to find a loving person like you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm so sorry to hear that!!! That's rough! It will also be difficult to go into surgical menopause!.

Here are my recommendations:
1) get a second opinion, just to be SURE!.
2) Go here: http://surmeno!.blogspot!.com/2006/07/tabl!.!.!. and read up on surgical menopause and getting on the right hormones!. It's really important to get on the right hormones--because you have endometriosis, you might have some extra challenges, though!.
3) Talk to a professional--it's tough to get a diagnosis of infertility, and talking it over with a psychologist could be helpful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
