How long should it take to receive the pathology report from a fetal autopsy? ?!
Question: How long should it take to receive the pathology report from a fetal autopsy!? !?
I've heard anywhere from 4 weeks to 6 months!. And can't get my surgeon on the phone!. Had surgery at 18 wks on 7/10/08!. The autopsy was done within a week but still waiting on the path report!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Could be a few weeks but one way you can find out is to call the hospital pathology dept to find out if the report is ready!. If yes, you can ask them to fax it over to your doctor's office (I've done something similar for regular type lab reports)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
