Question: I have a hole in my breast!!?
I had a lump and redness and swelling as well as peeling skin on my breast, about 2 inches above my nipple!. It was perfectly round and not painful unless I touch it!.
After going to the GP, I took the antibiotics he gave me (he didn't think it was cancer or anything) and since, it has burst!.!.!.producing a green and bloody discharge!. I presume it was just a cyst or abyss/infection!.
The trouble is, now there is a very deep and rather wide crater in my breast!. It is about as wide as a pencil!. It has stopped bleeding, but there is still a lump under the skin!.
I am moving to Milan on Tuesday, and I don't want t have any issues, but then again I wont be able to get a doctors appointment before I go!.
Is it likely to heal on its own, or will it need stitches or something!? It is quite sore now it has burst!.

The lump could be scar tissue or the healing process!. If the area was infected you won't get stitches, doctors don't stitch infected tissue, it causes the stitches to dissolve prematurely and other reactive process' will happen!. At any rate, keep an eye on it, keep it clean, if it continues to drain see a doctor!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
You definitely need to visit a health professional!. Are there any "doctor in a box" in your area( you may find one in a local drugstore chain where you can have a walk-in to see a nurse for @ $30)!? Try to call your dr!. office again and tell them about your predicament- tell them you just want it to be looked at asap!. If nothing else visit your local health dept!. before you travel!. ouch it sounds pretty serious have u gone to the doctor after it burst!? if not and u cant get another appointment well idk but if i were u i would go to the hospital if u dont want to its ok but i hope it gets better : D good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
if i were you i would go to the doctor without an appoitment and tell them it is an absolute emergency or go to the er and get an x-ray or somethingWww@Answer-Health@Com
