Endometriosis returns after surgery?!
Question: Endometriosis returns after surgery!?
I had a laproscopic surgery done in August of 2007 for endometriosis!. I went onto Yaz birth control after the surgery and have been virtually pain and period free since last August!. Well the other night I was back in emergency with excruciating pain that felt the exact same as my old endo pain!. I also was bleeding heavily which hasn't happened since the surgery!. Is it possible that it already came back this fast!? I had my gallbladder removed in February and he said there was a stringy stuff on it!. Can endometriosis get on the gallbladder too!? I'm a little worried about having to have a laproscopic done again!. Has anyone experienced this more than once!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Yes, unfortunately, endometriosis often returns!. Endo can attach itself to bladder, uterus, ovaries, bowel, etc!.
I have battled adenomyosis (endo inside of the uterus) for more than 10 years and am waiting to get a hysterectomy!. I had the laproscopy done & a few months later, had a myomectomy to relieve painful intercourse & horrible menses!. It worked for a couple of years, but the adeno has been back full-force for 3 years!. Now, I wait for the money and time!.
