i am 14 and don't have my period i have gotten brown discharge and bits of reddish pink i have read that this is your first period and that its old blood thats dried so its brown is this my period or something else!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could be your body gearing up to start your cycle!. i would think that maybe you needed to have a period 1st before you had "old" blood!. in some girls it could be a first period too!. a nurse at the clinic once told me that you could have a preiod and not bleed at all!. that was scary to find out but she says that it is very much so true!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is called spotting!. This means your body is starting your period!. About a month or a few later, your first official period will come!. This is what happened to me!
