What can they do about a burst sist?!
Question: What can they do about a burst sist!?
I went to the dr!. yesterday and they said i had a burst sist on my ovaries!.!.!.!.They told me to rest and take tylenol!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Is there anything that i can do to prevent another sist, or what was the cause of this!? I am only a teenager, so will this effect my chances of being fertile in the future since the sist burst!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is very common for women to have cysts!. They come and go, most of the time without us even knowing!. But sometimes they cause a ton of pain!. I've gone through this!.
No, it won't effect your chances of being fertile, just because you had a cyst burst, unless you have other things going on with your hormones!. If the doctor didn't discuss any blood tests you need to take, or anything like that, then I wouldn't worry about it!.
You could always call your doctor's office and ask to speak to a nurse!.!. I always find it easier to speak to a nurse, because they can usually get back to you quickly, whereas it can take a long time for the doctor to get back to you!. Express your concerns!. I feel for you, I am having a cyst burst as we speak!. I started feeling it about 2 days ago!. Unforuntatly, in you child bearing years you may have them the rest of your life( As long as you have a period)!. I get one about ever 4 or 5 months!. But after my first one, (about 5 yrs ago) I did not get one for about 2 years!. You doctor can put you on birth control that is suppposed to decrease the chance of getting a cyst!. (the pills made me sick)!.
Since you cyst has already broken, you are home free, the pain and symptoms should go away in a day or 2!. You need to watch in the future for if you get one and it is super painful! You will know what I am talking about when it happens!. A cyst if it grows to big can twist and cause problems, you do not have to worry about this now, as your cyst has already burst!. With you, now that burst cyst will flow out with your cycle in a week or 2!. It is just an egg that got lodged on the side!. Ovarian cysts that are benign (such as these ones) do not cause infertility, you will still have kids some day!.
Read about them on the internet like on Web Md or Medline, chances are you will get comfortable with yor body and know when you are having one!. It is weird, trust me, but I can tell, exactly when I have one, I can look at the calendar and know when my period is coming!. But read alot about them so you will have the tools and knowledge when it happens again!. shouldnt you have asked the doctor these questions since you were already there !. i think you should have asked your doctor those questions while you were in his office, he could provide you with a better answer than i can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
nothing to do about it!. you could go on the birth control pill to help prevent new cysts from forming, but that is about itWww@Answer-Health@Com
