PLZ ANSWER!!!! (women only)?!

Question: PLZ ANSWER!!!! (women only)!?
this is weird but i was just wondering- if your not on your period but you have alot to discharge can you use a tampon!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
you could, but you put yourself at risk for irritation and, therefore, more discharge, and can increase your chances of TSS (toxis shock syndrome)!. also, discharge is thicker than blood, and a tampon wont be able to absorb much!.i would advise you to use a regular padWww@Answer-Health@Com

No, thats very dangerous!. You should only use tampoons when on your period and it's best to use the lowest absorbency tampon you can -- while still getting the best protection (don't forget - don't leave a tampon in for more than 8 hours)!. The right absorbency tampon will also be the most comfortable!.
If you have more than normal discharge speak to your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do NOT listen to minny!. Tampons are for periods only!. Think of it this way!.

I was chopping onions and cut myself, I went to the ER, Got stitches, and the doctor gave me pain killers incase I started hurting!. I go home, take one as needed!. A month later when the wound is healed a have a few left over!. I put them in my med!. cabinet!. Then I'm reading a book and I get a paper cut!. Do I take pain meds!? After all it is a cut and it does kinda sting!. NO I DON'T! A deep knife cut and a paper cut are different!.
Your period and discharge are different!.
My point is, please don't use a tampon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Im not sure what it would do if you used a tampon, but i wouldnt think it would be that good, try a panty liner they are comfortable and you cant even feel them!
just go to the store and buy a few diffrent kinds and find one you prefure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, the tampon will stay too dry to remove comfortably!. Use a panty liner!. If the discharge smells offensive or you have itching or pain it might be an infection so you'll need to see a doctor if that's the case!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, this happens to all women, and I too use a tampon, but it also good/better to use a panty liner!.

It is safe to use a tampon if changed every 4 hours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should see a doctor!. It could be a sign of a more serious problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would recommend that you use a pad instead to be on the safe side!.
