Answers:
when you have been sexually active for 3 years or at age 21 if you have never been sexually active!.!.!.!.OR anytime you have a problem that involves your female reproductive organs (UTI, possible STD's, problems with periods, etc )Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should go to a gynecologist for the first time if:

1) you have any breast or genital problem!.!.!. like an infection, a cyst, irritation or discharge that's abnormal!.!.!. things like that, and you're not sure your family doctor can help

2) you've begun having sex, and you need to get a baseline cervical smear (pap test) done to ensure there's a way later on to tell right away if you've been in contact with pathogens that could promote cancers,

3) you're 18 years old!.!.!. in which case, it's for the same reason as 2) above, but also to make sure you begin a proper medical record of your genital and sexual health to follow you through adulthood!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

18, or sexually active!. They'll do a pap smear which they kinda open your vagina for so a hymen would get in the way of that, so it's better to wait till after you've had sex, and by 18 your hymen is most likely already broken even if you've never had sex!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Defiantly once you become sexually active!. Yet, if you are having problems of any kind feel free to go before then, most recommend coming in at 18 no matter if you are sexually active or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should be having regular pelvic exams from about age 20 to about 70 to check for ovarian cysts etc!.

18 or active whichever comes first!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
