My first time using tampons?!
Question: My first time using tampons!?
Well today i bought a pack of tampons and then when I got home i inserted one (I'm on my period)!.!. It took at least 5 tries with 5 different tampons before it was in properly (I bought the ones with the inserter thingy) and then when it came to change it again i kept trying at i couldnt get it in properly like before, i followed the intructions though!. So now i am wearing a towel but i want to wear a tampon, so please help me how to wear correctly and how to use them and any basic info!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just relax!. It takes a while for you to beocme pro at them!.
Have you tried the different posisitions!? The sqautting, lieing down, one foot on tub/toliet etc!.!.!?
Have you read over the paper that comes with every box of tampons telling you how to insert!?
Are you off your period now!?!? If your off it, then it wil be harder to insert a tampon (Even though you shouldn't when your off your period!.)
Juts relax and keep trying!. If you ahve it in part ways and you feel it isn't mocing anymore, wiggle the tampon a bit to try and get it moving again!. Just keep at it!. You'll get it in very soon!.
If all else fails, ask your Mom for help!. She has dealt with this before, and knows more about it!. Don't feel embarssed, my Mother had to TAKE my first tampon OUT and put my sisters first tampon IN!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This site has some very detailed instructions on how to use a tampon, with sketches--and points out some reasons as to why it might not work for you if you end up having a lot of difficulty!.

Personally, I had a lot of difficulty with using tampons when my flow wasn't very strong!. I had to use sanitary napkins (pads) during this part of my period!. I also found that the ones with applicators never seemed to fit as comfortably as the ones you insert yourself, with your fingers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't like the inserter things!. I just do it with my !.!.!. you know, fingers, lol [wash your hands before and after, though]!. More control!. I also point it downwards [unlike the diagram with the tampon pointing upwards] because it's more comfortable for me!. Just try different things and see what feels "right" for you!. =]Www@Answer-Health@Com
when i first tried them i managed straight away!. i have a sister the same age and she said it took her weeks!. it just takes practise although it can be uncomfortable its u dont put tem in properly!. when putting them in make sure u relax!. try spreading ur legs apartWww@Answer-Health@Com

try putting one leg on the toilet and one on the floor or you can sit on the toilet!.!.!.!. (im on my period too)Www@Answer-Health@Com
