I know when I'm about to start because I'll stop having discharge a couple of days before my period and I'll usually feel moodier the week before!.
But you have to get used to what your body does before you start!. I would keep track of your cycle length until you get more in tune with it!.
You are probably experiencing PMS (premenstrual syndrome), which by definition is: A varied group of physical and psychological symptoms, including abdominal bloating, breast tenderness, headache, fatigue, irritability, anxiety, and depression, that occur from 2 to 7 days before the onset of menstruation and cease shortly after menses begins!.
