Cramps are generally due to the lack of calcium in muscles!. To just take calcium tablets is the typical way doctors and others tell you to handle this, but that is not the real solution, typically!.

Most likely the "root cause" is the way your body is processing the calcium and the type of calcium you are ingesting!. Also magnesium plays a big role in this as well!. To test your calcium level in your body, just take a blood pressure device and put the cuff on the center of your leg calf muscle!. Pump up the pressure slowly until you feel a "charlie horse" coming on!. If you can't get the pressure to 240, you are deficient in calcium (and usually magnesium as well)!.

Then you need to look at your calcium you are ingesting!. If it is from pasteurized milk, forget it!. That garbage is toxic to the body and is being thrown off and generating cataracts, bone spurs, or kidney stones because the pasteurization of milk makes the calcium bad!. Do you actually think they add vitamin D to milk for your health!? It's to force your body to absorb the altered calcium!. A very bad joke!.

There are several cofactors that come into play in regard to how your body processes the calcium and that will determine if you are utilizing it properly!. The cramps are usually due to a lack of calcium in the muscle!. If your blood calcium levels are not adequate, the body pulls the calcium out of your muscles first and then out of your bones!. If you are getting cramps, you should see a Certified Nutritional Therapist to determine what cofactor or diet you need to address to fix the deficiencies!. It's not a big deal, but is important to do this!. If you are not processing the calcium properly, you can be headed for osteoporosis and other calcium deficiency issues as well!. Don't just treat the symptoms, correct all the deficiencies due to the cofactors and get healthy!.
