No period for 5 months?!
Question: No period for 5 months!?
i havent had my period for 5 months!.!.!.!.!. i think it may be because i was on accutane!.!.!.!. but anyways what happens to your body when you dont have a period!.!.!.!? do your hormones change!? How can I get my period again!?!? I dont want to take birth control pills!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had the same problem, only mine had stopped because I was nursing and I lost a lot of weight and had some additional stress!. From what I understand, you can go to your doc and they can run tests on your hormone levels and from that point they might give you something like Provera for you to take just for a few days to get your cycle going!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you have always been pretty regular, then you may want to schedule a visit with your gyno, and chances are she will start you on birth control pills!. But if you have always been pretty irregular, and you know for a fact that you are not pregnant, then I wouldn't wory too much!. My period has always been irregular and once I didn't get mine for 3 months!. However the irregularity annoyed me, because my periods were just way too unpredictable!. When I finally did get my period, it was really heavy and I had really bad cramping!. I decided to talk to my doctor about this and she prescribed birth control pills, which are working out great!. Having periods is a normal thing to get rid of the waste thats in your body accutane I presume stops the periods happening
as I have never heard of it but stop taking them right away 5 months is a long time surely after all that time you maybe feeling something happening to your body go to the parmacist and have a word with him/her about it and I'm sure things will return to normal

I think birth control pills would actually KEEP you from having your period!.!.!.but I'm no doctor!. I've only ever heard these reasons for that sort of thing:
1) Dehydration/Malnutrion!. If your body isn't getting the nutrients or hydration it needs, normal cycles break down!.
2) As stated, medications and birth control pills!.
3) Pregnancy!.

u absolutely have to take birth control if u are using accutane!. if u have any chance of getting pregnant u will become very sick!. u basically have to get on birth control pills to regulate ur periodWww@Answer-Health@Com
