I'm nearly fifteen and I still havent started my periods!. I am a B cup bra, and I have 'hair', my hips are quite wide and I've just been going through a growth spurt, I am now nearly 160cms!. I've had discharge for about 3 years now!. But I'm only just under 7 stone is this too light for my periods to start!? What else does my body have to have before they start!? Any ideas when my periods will start!? ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like your about there, your body is doing all the appropriate things!. Talk to the females your related to like your mom or sisters if you have any and ask them what age they started and more than likely you will prolly start around there too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well if you have already had a "first period" (of sorts), then you should have become regular by now!. It usually takes two years from a girls first period to become completely regular and "normal"!. This is mainly due to the influx of hormones into the body at the onset of puberty!.

Being underweight can also cause menstruation delay/irregularity - and in some Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia (I'm not saying that you are - i have no idea what 160cms is in ft and inches) cases, girls have completely stopped menstruating!.

I would get it checked out from the doctor asap, to see if you have a vitamin deficiency!.

Peace hon

PS - I had a friend who didn't begin her period until she was 17 - your body may not be ready yetWww@Answer-Health@Com

Looks you are on correct development!. But nobody can tell you exact dates of your period because different bodies are developing differently and coming to periods differently!.
The puberty and the menstrual cycle are genetically and hormonally determined and different girls can have different development!. It is very personal and pre-menstruation "signals" (strange discharges, breast tense, abdomen pain, etc!.) can come 1-2 days or 2-3 months or 11-12 months in advance!. It depends how sensitive are you and how fast your hormones will jump up!. Some girls have no pre-menstrual
