No, that's just a myth!.
When you're sleeping, the bra doesn't affect your breasts anymore than it does when you're awake!. If a bra was going to give you cancer, it would do it no matter when you wore it!
I have slept in a sports bra for years!. I think it is more comfortable, especially if you have larger breasts, and if someone comes to your door late at night or you have to leave (my dorm has nighttime fire drills ALL the time!), you won't have to worry about being all bouncy!

don't you think if that were true there would be comprehensive millions-of-tax-payer-dollar research going into this!? don't you think that bras might come with little swing tags saying WARNING! CANCER MAY RESULT IN WEARING DURING SLEEP!
Don't you think that for a diesease they know very little about, they would work endlessly day and night to find this connection between compression/support of the breasts during sleep and breast cancer!?
1 in 10 Australian women contract breast cancer sometime during their lives!. it is not something to be joked about or taken lightly!.!.!. and is certainly not something to be connected in ANY WAY with wearing a bra during sleep!.

i think that after years it can eventually, MAYBE, cause cancer, but only if ur bras have alot wireing underneath!. personally, i cant sleep with a bra on, i find it way to uncomfortable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
