Last night I remember I was dreaming, and in the dream I started hurting in my stomach!. It started hurting so bad that I woke up!. I had excruciating pain at my ovaries and lower stomach!. It felt as though someone was ripping my insides out!. I could especially feel it in my ovaries!. What was this pain!? Oh, yeah, I know it had to deal with my period, because I started it today!. I usually never had bad cramps until a couple years ago!. I start cramping the day before my period, and I turn into a complete, well you know!. Thanks so much for your answers!

Ok I never ever get cramps!. But this one time!. I was driving my car and the same thing happend to me! It hurt so bad I had to stop driving!. I was in so much pain I sqeezed the driving wheel and tensed up!. My son was in the back seat and he was lookin at me all scared n stuff!. I almost started to scream it hurt so bad!. Any way, it lasted for about 2 min and it was over!. The next day I started my period and had a few light cramps that day!. I told my doctor and they said it was normal, and that you cannot ever predict how ur cramps will feel and or creep up on you!. Also, you may have cramps all the time and just cannot feel them, because when you are about to start your period your muscles contract!.!.!.sort of like a mini labor lol, actually my cramps hurt worse then that, that one day!! I would def ask your doc or the nurse at your practitionor clinic just because you need to make sure its not a hernia or whatever its called (you could press down on ur abdomen and if it hurts then its probably it) also it might feel like a knot when you press it w/ ur finger tips!. But if it was just that one time, lets hope it was the last!Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe you had a cyst that ruptured!? call your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It was probably just period cramps starting up!. Ive had really severe cramps a day or two before my period started!. If it gets unbareable, even after taking pain killers and having a warm soak in the bath/hot water bottle then get yourself to the doctors!. He will probs say its normal, but if it happens every month he could put you on The Pill to reduce bleeding and the pain (my doc did this and it worked a treat!) but its best to get checked out incase :) xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

I would go to the hospital if it was that bad!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe your dream was a sign that your period was about to start!.!.!. I don't really know!.!.!. Anyway I didn't start experiencing bad cramps until I was 18, and I started my period about 11!. I'll start to get cramps a couple days before my period, just my body letting me know it was about to start!. I have pretty bad cramps that last about three days and then go away, and nothing I have tried yet has relieved them!. I've been to hospitals and doctors and everyone says that there is nothing wrong with me!. Every girl is different when it comes to their period!. What you're saying sounds really normal!. Don't worry about it too much!. Try midol extra strength and see if that helps with your cramps or try taking a hot shower to relieve them!.!.!. Also taking a hot bath helps some people, but remember to wear a tampon!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My cramps started getting worse a few years ago as well, but they've lessened since I've been on Yaz (a birth control pill that is helpful in treating emotional and physical premenstrual symptoms that are severe!.) For me, I think my cramps became worse because I started drinking a lot of caffeine!. A change in your habits or lifestyle may have caused them to become worse, like smoking, stress, lack of sleep, poor posture, caffeine (found in coffee and most soft drinks), and a diet high in fat and salt!.
You could stop drinking caffeine or try to find a way to deal with stress, but I would definately take some ibuprofin to help with the cramping!. I've also heard that exercising regularly can help cramps as well!.
Hope this helps some =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
