Anyone know about Provera side effects; heavy bleeding?!
Question: I was put on Provera for the first 10 days of the month. I have started bleeding so badly I am filling a pad and a tampon every 1 1/2 hours. I went to the ER and they told me I was fine. This has been going on for 4 days and I am so physically worn out and the bleeding has remained steady and now I am passing huge clots. I'm about to lose it. What should I do when I am being told I'm "fine"?

To be perfectly honest with you...these are all normal side effects of Provera. I was on Provera for months and had the same effects. It is exhausting and disgusting, but it is fine. If you haven't stopped bleeding within the next few days I would call your gyn and let them know.
