Period troubles? GIRLS ONLY?!

Question: [on my friend's behalf]
OK, so last time I stayed over my friend's house, I took some of her pills which delays your periods. I know it was stupid, but I wanted to delay mine for a week. Anyway, they didn't work and my period came. I was always regular before, but I have not had another one since (it was February 17th.) What's happened?

Babes... You have taken a pill to rebuild the lining of your uterus; hence the delaying of the period. It did not work out the first time as there was not enough time for it to take effect. Therefore the consequence has followed slightly later than you thought. It will be back to normal before you know it, so don't worry- look on the bright side, enjoy your time without a period :) X x x x

Ps. Your not stupid, we've all been there and done that! :) X

you will become reguar again soon, dont worry babes X

You just messed things up for a bit. Give it time and your body will re regulate itself. Oh and if you take those pills too close to when you expect your period u usually get it anyhow. Dont worry.

Those pills have hormone, and hormone is the thing that delays your period. You cant expect hormone to act like paracetamol in Panadol, ie instant result. That's why it didnt work out the first time and now you are experiencing the effect. No big problem but then, it will return to its normal cycle once the effect of hormone is gone.
