Women over 30 only: do you tend to break out when getting closer to your periods!

Question: I'm experiencing pimples/break-outs during my teenage years and it was gone as I got older. However, now that I am 30-something I tend to break out as I get close to my period. Does this happen to you?

When I went to my dermatologist for this exact reason, she told me this: "Many women in their 30's and 40's get wrinkles and zits at the same time! How awful is that?!"

lol - I agree!

Yes

Yes - sucks...doesn't it?

Yes it does!! I'm 31 and for the past year I've been getting breakouts towards the end of my cycle. I had a few pimples as a teenager, and none in my 20s. I find now that they pop up in different spots to where they used to - when I was younger I got them on my chin and forehead, but now I get them around my jawline and on my temples. It makes skincare hard, because my skin seems to be oily and dry at the same time!

Yes. The breakouts go away after my period is over. It's the only time I break out.

It's due to hormones.

Yeah some month not has bad as other though. It is horrible to still be dealing with oily skin and breakouts at this age.
