I think it is personal preference.
Waxing can be painful, is horribly messy and can leave horrible black residues on your legs.
Shaving is quick and easy but your hair grows back quite quickly and can be coarser.
Creams are good, but I worry about what those chemicals are really doing to my skin.

I use different ways all the time, depending on the time I have and what sort of mood I am in.

You need to use better shaving cream and a good razer if you're going to shave.

It's better to wax...it lasts a long time.

Shave - Use a new sharp razor and shaving gel
Wax - Stays smoother longer.

Waxing would probably leave your legs in more pain than shaving. Try putting lotion on after you shave your legs.
Also, there are products like Veet Rasera that's a gel you might want to try. You leave it on your legs for a few minutes and then you "shave" it off with a plastic razor that isn't a razor (lol) it comes with it.

use hair removal cream... its the best... same effect as waxin... not the same pain!!

Torching is better.

I used to shave daily. But about 2 years ago I gave that up for waxing. The great thing about waxing is that you only have to do it once every few weeks. I do notice the hair grows back finer and in some areas it stops growing all together. The bad part about waxing is that you have to let your hair grow out to certain length before you can wax again. So after you get your legs waxed they are as smooth as silk. I never get that feeling with shaving. Also I find shaving to be extremely painful. My legs burn for few hours afterwords. So it's an individual decision. I don't mind hiding my legs for 2 weeks for perfectly smooth legs for 2 weeks. I hated shaving everyday. But if you want to have hair free legs year round, then you should stick to shaving. Also waxing can be expensive if you get it done at a salon.

Is the skin on your legs dry? Try keeping them moisturized and use a new razor every time you shave. Also, use gel shaving cream, not foam.

I tried at-home waxing once on my legs and will never do it again! If you decide to get waxed - go to a professional.

Waxing, definitely!

Waxing is better but shaving is just easier. When shaving, use lots of shaving cream and a good sharp razor. That should ease the pain.
