Medically speaking, would it be ok to surgically have a clit removed?!

Question: My sister is struggling with being addicted to sex and she sees this as a last resort. Is this possible and will surgeons perform this? Thanks.

I'm not a doctor, so I can't say whether it is ethical, but personally, I think there are other answers. After all, 'addicted to sex' could mean any number of things, most of which are perfectly normal and don't require such drastic action. Without knowing more, I couldn't say whether she really has a problem or not, and what would help if she did.

That said, I'd really hate to see her resort to having her clit removed. It just strikes me as a kind of mutilation that would not really solve her problem, and would ruin her enjoyment of what is often an important part of life.

Uh, I wouldn't suggest it, but removing a woman's clit is basically just circumcision for women.

Circumcision = sexual disfigurement. Please don't allow your sister to even think about disfiguring herself like this.

wow.

Tell your sister that it's ok to be addicted to sex. It could be worse. She could addicted to meth, or beating up hobos. Lol.

But also tell her I wouldn't suggest getting her **** cut off. That's something that if you remove it, you just cannot get it back. Besides, there are more pleasurable things within the womens part that cause the good feelings that sex can being. That would be like cutting of a branch of a tree and not cutting and removing the roots.. pointless and painful!

i wouldn't recommend it. try a different approach to help her overcome this.
