Here is what you do =]

Okay well make sure u have these things: A decent razor not a cheap 1, a good shaving gel or bikini shaving gel, lotion, and a mirror (if you want to do your labia)
1st- get in the shower or bath and make sure u keep the hair soaked to soften it up.
2nd-if ur hair is long trim it down so it will be easier to shave.
3rd-apply small amout of shaving cream and shave in the same direction it lays.(not against yet, thats how u get razor burn. not fun! lol.) And constantly wash out the razor to avoid clogs and nicks. Also keep your skin tight Rinse off the shaving cream.
4th- More shaving cream on pubic area and start working ur way from the top moving down in short ,smooth motions untill the front hair is all gone. (It is VERY important to keep ur skin tight while doing this!)
5th-if you want to do you labia you r going to have to be careful. Sit at the bottom of the shower or shower chair if u have 1 and place the mirror so u can see your labia.
6th- apply small amount of shaving cream.
7th-shave with the hair not against it and keep the skin tight again.
8th-use the same steps as 6 and 7 if you want to remove the hair around your butt.
9th- Apply a gental lotion to shaved area after to avoid bumps and ingrown hairs. (Make sure there isn't alcohol in it that burns.)
Now Shaving is finished, and all the hair is gone.

Hope this helped!

don't do it anymore why are you doing this ???????????

its a very sensitive area of your body. the skin around your vagina is a lot more sensitive than the skin on your legs. if you continue to get razor burn, try other methods of hair removal like Nair. whatever you do, if your younger, DONT WAX. its extremely painful.

u get them because it is a much more sensitive area u should use soap and shaving cream and go really slow

your skin there is sensitive and unused to razor.

shave down toward your feet. dont go against the grain. lather up something, soften the skin up, use some products. actually search on-line, google stuff like "shaving down there" or how to shave your vagine, idk.

generally shave down. also, try some cremes but read the instructions, you dont want to get them inside you.

shaving will only make you hairier and also you almost have to do it every few days. there are ways where you dont become hairier and also last longer like those wax strips. it will only hurt the first time and you need to be careful. use it on the sides but dont use it on your labia, just on the mons pubis maybe.

first of all, its not your vagina. its your vulva.
the vagina is INSIDE. dont women know this???? i read this all the time.
but for a suggestion, shave in downward strokes to minimize the bumps and nicks. it will get better with time.

The best ways to prevent it is to shave the same direction the hair grows. Also on days you don't shave, use like a louffa or something to scrub all the dry skin off. This prevents hairs from getting stuck under the skin. Also, I've learned that if you use too sharp of a razor, I get razorburn worse than if I use an older one. You may want to experiment with that.

Or it you don't want to bother with it at all, you can always wax! It is painful at first, but it's totally worth it!

I hate getting razor burns and bumps down there!! lol. I suggest the followering:

* Wet the skin with warm water
* Use shaving cream and a new razor - not a dull one - with atleast 3 or 4 blades
* Shave downwards a couple of times - with the hair - and then if you want a REALLY close shave, shave upwards - against the hair growth - ONCE.
* Pat the skin dry with a towel or wateva
* Use a fragrance free moisturiser OR use Skin Doctors Ingrow Go; this stuff cleans the skin to get rid of bacteria to prevent ingrown hairs.
* Exfolitate the skin each time you shower very lightly.

I hope this helps?? Usually it takes a couple of attempts to find the right razor and the right moisturiser or product to prevent razor burn for you. Ingrow Go works for me but there are other products such as Tend Skin that works for other people. Just shop around and try it out :-)
