The recovery time for ovarian cancer surgery is about 6-8 weeks. You may be in the hospital for about 2 days. Pain level it's different for everyone especially with good pain medication post-operatively. Physical limitations will include not being able to lift more than a certain amount of weight (like nothing more than 5 lbs as an example).
