About 6 months to 1 year before a girl gets her first period, her body may start to produce vaginal discharge. This is normal and is caused by the changing level of hormones in the body, resulting in an increase in secretions in the vagina. This discharge helps keep the vagina healthy.
it keeps on going/coming in the begining so no problem at all...

if you didn't ever ever have sex then it is normal
if you did, get an STD test for everything at the docs

yea that's fine. Sometimes you can go weeks with out seeing it agian. It comes on and off.

Yes, it is normal to have discharge sometimes come and go especially when the body is starting to mature and adjust to the changes going on inside of it.

I would recommend letting your mom know what's going on as well so that she can help you keep an eye on it.

yeah don't worry. all girls will eventually get discharge if they didn't have sex. i had discharge but it kept on coming and going.

It depends on what type of discharge. Are you sexually active? If you are had you recently had sex? After sex you may have semen discharge. If you are sexually active and had unprotected sex if discharge has a foul odor you need to see an OB/GYN you could have an STD. If you are not sexually active it could just be hormones. If you are a young adolescent then your body will go through changes which is normal.

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period
