Birth control without moodiness?!

Question: Okay, normally during my PMS I'm not moody or anything emotional like that, I'm just a little cloudy. Well, a while back I was on the pill (Ortho Tricyclen Lo I think) and I would take my pill at about 9 pm. Every single day I'd start to get really moody and felt just yucky at about 6 pm. It drove me off the pill after being on it only two months. Well, I want to go back on b/c but I don't know which method to choose. I was looking at Nuvaring so I didn't have the daily up and down circus act of my hormones. Is there anyone out there who had the same issue and found a different method that didn't cause the same problems?

Ortho Tri-cyclen lo almost killed my relationship. I was a raving suicidal maniac and I couldn't keep myself under control. After two months of it, I'd had it. I couldn't stand it.

What the problem is with those kinds of BC is that they are different levels of hormones. Your moods will fluctuate because of your hormones, and the pills make it so that your hormones are constantly changing. You go from a little, to a lot, to a ton, to nothing at all, and over again. It's not healthy.

I would recommend to you that you find a BC that is on a monocycle; one level of hormones throughout the whole month. There should be no fluctuations or constant hormone changes. This is what my nurse told me.

.. i suggest is the Neuva Ring... that is what i am on and have been for alomost 6 months now, it is easy and you dont have to think about it everyday... you put it in you vagina say today a sunday you leave it in for 3 weeks and take it out on that 3rd sunday leave it out for a week and you will have your period that week and then the next sunday you put a new one in... it regulates your period so it is easy to keep track..

IDK bout this one

I LOVE Nuvaring! I was on it for the longest time, and it makes life so much easier, not having to take something every single day..I didnt have any side effects, so I was pretty happy. But Im looking for something even easier, so Im looking at Implanon. But i definately recommend Nuvaring!
