Penicillin + Yeast infection?!
Question: I've been taking Penicillin (4 capsules a day) for 2 days now. Last time I was on Penicillin, I had a yeast infection. I'm just wondering if I get another yeast infection, should I stop the Penicillin and start Monistat or just finish with the antibiotics and the start Monistat. Thanks for your input.

say thing used to happen to me until i started asking for an antibiotic called Clindamycin-low grade that you just take alittle longer but no more yeast infections!!
Definitely finish the entire round of penicillin while concurrently using something like monistat.
i hate cillins cuz i instantly receive a yeast infection too. my doc has told me in the past.....when i start to notice the signs of a yeast infection, then start taking the meds for a yeast infection. meanwhile to continue taking the penicillin too.
