I need help with my little monthly friend. GIRLS PLEASE ANSWER!!?!

Question: My period is relentless. How in hell do I get rid of the cramps? I've tried hot water bottle, exercising, even Aleve. They always come back around five to ten minutes after they leave. Another thing is that I am a Muslim, so we can't use tampons until marriage, because we aren't supposed to stick anything up there. I am 13, and I am on a soccer team. Plus gym class and running from class to class, pads are SO annoying. Should I just sneak in some tampons? I need help.

I know this question is kinda graphic and detailed but I need girly help.

I have gone through many medicines, and I agree none of them work! Try calling your doctor (or ask your mother to call), and ask the doctor if he can prescribe you some 800 mg Ibuprofen. This is the only thing that works for me.

I can't use tampons because I always start getting TSS (Toxic Shock Symptoms). I can say though, that they times I have tried them were not fun. You go through them just as fast as a pad, and it just constantly feels weird.

If your cramps are that prominent I would suggest seeing the doctor, you could have something seriously wrong, like endometriosis.

i thhink u should, and to take care of the cramps, u should take pampren. it works miricles

Using a tampon will not relieve cramps by any means, if that is what you were asking. Using a tampon will not physically harm you, but you might want to take your religious beliefs into consideration. You may want to talk to your mom about seeing a doctor if you feel comfortable talking to her about that stuff.

okay, you are only 13 and you will get used to pads so don't worry about that part. as for the cramps you are going just have to deal with them, believe me i've been there and they'll get a little better as you get older.

Have you tried to lay a warm clothe on your stomach while you relax. change your diet up a little bit. motrin works best for me. and because you have to run alot that doesn't help to much. I think you should honor your religion keep wearing pads. try some different ones like always. They all fit differently and eventuallly you will find one that you won't be able to tell you're wearing.

tampons won't help your symptoms so please don't go against your beliefs and "sneak" them in. I think that you'll seriously regret it later and your family would be upset. You may need to talk to your mom about going to the doctor for some medicine to help each month. good luck!
