Someone please help, im confused :'(?!


Question: Im 15. And i just started to go to a gym with my sis, i weigh 140 pounds and i'm 5'6.

I want to lose weight, and look toner so bad! It's just so hard eating the right things because i dont know what to eat! I have school so i hardly dont eat because i never have money to buy things. I dont know what carbs are or how many calories to eat. I do carido an hour 2-3 a week. And take a yoga class a one day of the week, and walk home from school.
I always feel fat! Just this summer, i want to walk around the beach with a small bikini and look great, but i always think in my head i wont get there, and i look fat still.
Someone please help?


Will my fitness plan work before the summer? Will i look okay?

Relax and try to learn to be happy with yourself. It does not sound like you are fat to me. Every ones size is based on their body frame and metabolism. It is not something you can always change.

The cardio workouts you are doing are great, and a very great start to keeping in shape. Just remember to do them every other day and not everyday. You can build muscle instead of toning yourself if you do it too often. And, muscle weighs more than fat so you can actually gain weight.

Below is a website that tells you about nutrition and about calorie contents of food. It can give you a better idea of what to eat to stay healthy.

I do know you need to find a way to eat several times a day including while you are in school. Even if it is just a piece of fruit. It is important to not eat your biggest meal right before you go to bed.

You have to eat during the day. When you don't eat, your metabolism slows down. You have to eat breakfast, so your metabolism will start working.

Bad Carbs, are white bread, and pasta, potatoes are full of carbs too. Basically anything with sugar, and flour are bad carbs.

Good carbs are mostly fruits, they are high in natural sugar.

There are some good websites that you can calculate out how many calories you need to intake. Just use google.

The best food to eat before you work out is Broccoli! It gives you an energy boost, and helps you breathe easier! Good luck!

Well your weight is fine for your height but if you want to tone up then you're doing well with the exercise. There is a free web site for teenagers that you can check out which will help with diet plans and exercising, I use the adult version and love it.

well for one you aren't really that fat. you may be a little overweight but your not fat.

secondly i would try some other things cardio is for your heart to get more toned try using weights

as for what to do to eat better try bringing lunch a sandwich somer fruit, maybe a small bag of chips or maybe a 100 calorie pack.

don't stress too much about it
