You know how dried clotted bood on a scab is black...thats all that is. The blood from your period sometimes is extremely dark and can look black. Your period is not just blood, but the lining of your uterus and mucus, so it can clot together and look the way you just described.

I have honestly never experienced black gooy stuff, i suggest you see your doctor and tell them about it if your really concerned about it, it could be older blood (do you change your pad/tampon as often as you should?) because its always good to be clean and fresh + have showers more if its that time of the month.
It is clots of blood. Gross, I know. I still am grossed out with blood.
Sometimes you can black stuff. It's just an old blood cloth, which turns from red to black. It could also be retained blood from the previous period. It is something that happens often, or if you get very big clots you have it checked out by your doctor.

im pretty sure this is normal. The Dark red goey stuff is dried blood clots or uterine lining. If you are not sure maybe mention it to your doc next time u are there.

it's just clumps of uteral lining that came out..it's just natural in the menstrual cycle
