Is it bad to not have your period for a long time?!
Question: I was just wondering this. I think it's stopped because I've been skipping lunch everyday. It's actuallt kinda nice to not have to deal with it. Is this bad or have any bad effects may be? oh yea, I'm 16

Just skipping lunch would not cause your periods to stop.
Another reason why periods would stop for a girl of your age is due to hormones (thyroid or PCOS).
At 16, my periods were very sporadic and I would go months without any. I have PCOS.
I would go see a doctor for testing to see if you have a hormonal problem. It can get worse when you get older. It did for me.
how long has it been stopped? if it's like longer than you know, like 1 or 2 months, then...maybe see ur doctor? (isn't it nice to have a break?!!)
When I was around your age, I had the same issue. My periods started coming real irregularly. I went to a Gyno and she did blood work on me and I had irregular hormone levels. She put me on birth control pills to regulate my period and it really helped. Also all my friends back then told me that I was even a nicer person since I was all evened out!! Hope this helps!
Girls who are very athletic don't have periods.
Could this be the reason?
It is good to get that cleaning out each month. That is what it is for.
