I used plan B... Need advice.?!

Question: Ok, there are thousands of these questions out there, and I know I was stupid. I had sex, the condom broke. I have a major problem with pregnancy, even the thought makes me want to jump off of something.

The thing is, It was just a few days after I had finished my period,I felt like something was wrong immediately when he...And shoved him off and ran to the bathroom when I found out what had happened. I took plan B within an hour, because I was freaking, took the second pill exactly 12 hours later, And did the trick with the vitamin C tablets. If you havent heard of it, Vitamin C raises the acidity level and acts as a spermacide...

I'm scared. I know he'll have nothing to do with me if I am pregnant. Ah well thats life.

Thanks for listening.

I'm not going to give you reasons to feel better on false grounds, but "a few days after your period" is usually not soon enough to ovulate. Having said that, the best advice I can give you is to get two separate (different brands) pregnancy tests and take them. That way you won't tell yourself scary stories about how both tests in the same box went bad. I'm pretty sure you're not pregnant, but if you are, the sooner you know, the better.

You were not stupid. Condoms just break. In the future, you'll feel safer if you're on the Pill or use a spermicide with the condom (not just a spermicidal condom). Plan B is supposed to be pretty good, if used as directed, which of course you did.

Last thought...in the future, I would try not to have sex with a man who won't support you through finding out you're pregnant, along with any decisions you make because of that. If a man can't be man enough to support you in those situations, he doesn't deserve to enjoy your body.

Sounds like you did everything you could do, what kind of advice are you looking for..besides hopefully you got lucky I wouldn't push your luck again

Plan B contains a massive amount of hormones. This will put your cycle out of sync temporarily.

dont worry bc there is a very high chance that you are NOt going to be pregn i mean 98% your period may be off. it may be earily up to a week or late Dont worry its a normal reaction to PLan B also you might get cramps and want to throw up when i took the PLan B pill i had pregn symptoms up to a week after my period but i was not pregn so if your body is feeling and acting werid its ok. You will Be fine

If you had just finished your period AND you too plan B ou sould be just fine. Don't stress about it too much or you will make yourself sick.

sweety if he is like that he is not worth your effort...

but dont worry if you took the plan B pills you should be ok... but if you get really worried and for some reason you periods dont come do a pregnancy test... But wait about 6-7 weeks for the test because if you do it too soon it might not be right

I would also sugest that you go on the birth control pill

First of all, you weren't stupid, you were doing the right hting using a condom. It's unfortunate that it broke. Don't freak out too much just yet. It's good that you got plan B right away. I don't think you will have any problem, just be aware that the first period after the morning after pill can be later or earlier than usual. So maybe rather than waiting all month until you are supposed to get your period, just wait a week or two and buy a pregnancy test just to be sure. Hopefully everything will be fine. I have used the morning after pill before and it was fine, no pregnancy, but it did make my period come a week late which obviously is scary when you already are worried you might be pregnant. I wish I had taken a pregnancy test instead of waiting it out and freaking out for so long.

If it was just a few days after your pregnancy, and you took Plan B that soon after, the chances of your becoming pregnant are so incredibly small that you probably have a better chance of being hit by a jeep.

However, I think you may want to consider whether you have another problem on your hands -- the fact that you're dating a guy that would treat you THAT poorly and dump you if you're in an unplanned pregnancy. Because -- you know how you say that "he'll have nothing to do with you" if you're pregnant? Honey, if you get pregnant it will have EVERYTHING to do with him, because he GOT you there, and if he can't handle it then he is an immature little boy who has no business sticking his dick in anyone.

He has to earn the RIGHT to get to have sex with you, and from the sounds of it he's really doing a piss-poor job of earning it. Why let him get away with making you this scared?

All you can do now is wait and see. Plan B is only about 85% effective, and the vitamin C thing is a myth.
