You can take a variety of products that will reduce the gas (gas-x or really any other one, i think midol heaps too).
For the cravings, while edemamme beans with salt and an apple won't satisfy the cravings 100%, neither will chocolate or chips! If you are already bloated and gassy, you are not going to want to exert the physical activity to rid yourself of those calories. Eat something salty, and healthy. Eat something sweet and healthy like fruit or even Berries and cream or if you want a real treat, berries mint leaves and an orange liqeure.

You are probably PMSing and when you PMS you can have the weirdest cravings try to stay away from eating all that crap or thinking about PMS by reading a book watching a movie or taking a bubble bath! As for the gas its completley normal.
women crave certain foods before their menstrual cycle. It's totally normal. I don't get gassy, but I get horribly horny and eat twice as much food as normal.
