an ovary releases an egg. it goes down your fallopian tube. if its fertilized, it will implant into the uterine wall. if its not, the lining of the uterine wall is shed, and you have your period.

Women don't make sense, at all.

you look like larry ^^^^^^???? LOL

Menstruation is a woman's monthly bleeding, also called a period. When you menstruate, your body is shedding the lining of the uterus (womb). Menstrual blood flows from the uterus through the small opening in the cervix, and passes out of the body through the vagina. Most menstrual periods last from three to five days.

wha???

im miserable...headaches...everybody irritates me!

you don't know, give me a break, aren't you a female.

An egg is passed that has not been fertilized. This is accompanied by bleeding. You may also experience mood swings.

ok i am not sure how old you are, but you know the word menustrate, and not period? when you have your period you bleed out of your vagina.

So when you get your period, your body is releasing a thin layer of your uterus that was preparing itself to get pregnant, when there is no sperm present to get to your egg, you get your period. Your body works in a 28 day cycle normally with days 11-14 being the most fertile (meaning you have the best chance of getting pregnant). If you want more info, add to your question.

the real u comes out. quite frightening actually.

Not sure which aspect you are asking about. Inside your body, your uterus builds up a lining in preparation for pregnancy. You ovulate. If there is no fertilization of the egg with sperm, then the uterine lining sheds (menstruation). Then it starts all over again. Whole process is average 28 days. The menstruation (bleeding) lasts 3-7 days during which time you will need to use pads and/or tampons.

You bleed for 3 to 7 days, light medium or heavy. You cramp and sometimes become moody.

Are you asking what happens inside the woman's body during menstruation or do you just want to know what it's like to have a period? You haven't made the question very clear.

Also remember that 28 days between periods is an average. It is perfectly normal to have a period every 21 to 35 days. Usually anything out of range needs to be checked out.
