Question: Ok, I know that some women do it. But I just want to know if its basically needed. Are you supposed to shave downstairs? And What about when you start doing "Bom Chicka Wah Wah"...If you know what I mean? Do men prefer it that way?

Some men like it au-natural, while others like it squeaky clean. I have been shaving down there since I was a teen. I used to shave with a razor, but I got MAJOR razor burn, and a few days afterward it looked as if I had broken out down there. It was gross to the 10th power. >< I tried using different razors, even ones made for men, but no luck. My husband is in the military, and we give him a buzz cut every few days. That gave me the idea of using the clipper instead of a razor, and after asking my husband's permission (he laughed but said sure - hair is hair), I have been using it ever since with all the benefits and no ill effects!! =]
I basically give myself a VERY SMALL buzz cut, and it's so much nicer being trimmed down there!!!!
I've only ever been with one man, so I don't have much experience with what men like. As far as I can tell, men like the vajay-jay as long as you are clean and fresh down there, no matter the hair (or lack of).
all men prefer different things, some like it that way, some don't. there isn't really any health benefits of doing. its mostly just a sexual thing.
If you do shave downstairs, you have to keep shaving. Men like the shaved area, but do not like the razor burn if it is not maintained :-(
Every guy I have ever met says they love when a girl shaves down there. And they even laugh when someone talks about a bush or even a little strip. A lot of guys won't even go down on a girl who has it, they don't like it. All I Have ever heard is how nice it is and it smells better and is cleaner and they dont get hair in there mouth. And all of my girlfriends shave too. But then again its just all in what you prefer. good luck
I think it depends on the guy...some guys like hairy women some dont...some like "landing strips"...just depends on the person...i think most men just prefer it to be well maintained and clean
No it is not a basic need...just like shaving your armpits and legs isnt a need. Its more so a matter of preference. Some women prefer a clean shave everywhere...others a trim..and some prefer au natural. Whatever makes you feel comfortable is what you should do.
If you start doing 'bom chicka wha wha', hair or no hair, my only suggestion is to keep your private fresh and clean.
As far as men preference....they are picky. Plain and simple...there is no pleasing a man...ever. lol
Doctor Oz on Oprah said there is not needed to shave there, or wax. I can only speak for myself; men like to think about Bom Chicka Wah Wah with a hairless chick.
Some men like a forest, some like it naked. Depends. Waxing prevents the bumps. There are such things as "pain-free" waxes.
yes you should shave it totally. pubic hair is disgusting. once you get used to it it is SO much better being clean shaven
